AAT Short Courses (Business Skills/ Accounting Software/ Bookkeeping)
AAT is a name that employers trust. Employers love AAT qualifications as they demonstrate you have the practical real world skills they need. Their qualifications are developed in consultation with employers and will equip you with the key finance skills modern businesses are looking for. These courses are aimed at:
• small and micro-sized businesses
• current bookkeepers looking to acquire new skills
• those already working in finance and looking to back up their experience with a qualification
• those not currently in employment and/or training who are looking to acquire skills to get into the workplace.
Access Award in Business Skills (Level 1) -10 weeks starting Friday 6th November 2020 (10–2.30pm)
The Access Award in Business Skills qualification is designed to give you the wider skills needed in every business. This is a basic-level qualification for people taking their first step into work. As well as covering the basic accounting techniques and principles you’ll gain a broader understanding of the business environment and how to prepare for entering the world of work.
Access Award in Accounting Software (Level 1) 6 weeks starting Friday 5th February (10–2.30pm)
This is the perfect starting point if you want to carry out basic finance and administrative duties using accounting software packages. This is a basic entry-level qualification and can provide a solid grounding for students with no previous bookkeeping knowledge or experience, before moving on to the foundation-level qualifications.
Access Award in Bookkeeping (Level 1) 6 weeks starting Friday 23rd April 2021 (10–2.30pm)
With this qualification there’s no need for any prior accounting knowledge. This qualification will give you a solid background in single entry bookkeeping.
