What will the apprentice be doing?
- Booking GP appointments with patients via telephone
- General office duties such as scanning and emailing
- Posting Health information on Practice’s Facebook and Instagram
- Maintaining GP database i.e. registering new patients and creating new files, Scanning and transferring correspondences to our medical database
- Filing patient records and Hospital correspondence
- Making telephone calls to surgeries and hospitals
- Carrying out medical practice audits
- Preparing Medical Reports
- Preparing Invoices
- Meet and greet at reception

- The training will be delivered by Birmingham Metropolitan College on a flexible day release basis
