GCSE Results

BMet hopes you get the grades you need, but just in case you haven’t - DON’T PANIC!

Come to the GCSE Day Advice Cafe from Thursday 25th August to find out about the range of courses on offer and sign up for the next step on your path to a great career – right here. You’ll be able to discuss your options with our trained advisors and complete your enrolment at the same time.

How many GCSE's do I need?

Use this as a guide to see what level will suit you.

Entry Level

No formal qualifications are needed.  These courses will improve your team working and employability skills as well as literacy and numeracy skills.

Level 1

You must have completed a secondary education ideally with 2 or more GCSEs and you must be able to show an interest in your area of study e.g. portfolio of art work or an audition.

Level 2

You will need 4 GCSEs at grade D or above or a Level 1 qualification in your chosen subject area.

Level 3

You will need 4 or 5 GCSEs at grade C or above. Some subjects require you to have specific GCSEs like English, Maths or Science, please check on the course pages. You may also have a Level 2 qualification in your chosen subject area.

Level 4/5

You will need a relevant Level 3 qualification and be over 18 years old. Some mature applicants can also gain entry through relevant work experience.

University Level Courses at BMet

We have a wide range of degree level courses both full and part-time to fit around your life.  Our fees are reasonable too with loans and flexible payment terms available.

Many students will be continuing their studies at University Level, through one of our own courses or with one of our partner universities: Aston University; Birmingham City University; Staffordshire University; Manchester Metropolitan University; University of Wolverhampton; University of Worcester.
