How to Apply

For full-time FE courses for 2017, you need to follow the steps below.

How to Apply

STEP 1 - do your research!

Take a look at the subjects and courses that we offer - you will see an "Apply Online" button next to all courses on our website and our online application process is simple. You can read more about the online application process in Step 3!

To start your research, click on the subjects below:

Once you've found one (or a few!) courses that you’re interested in you may want to attend an open event to find out more about the College.

If you have already decided that BMet is for you, then you are ready to move on to steps 2 or 3!

STEP 2 - be prepared!

Ensure that you have all your details to hand. If you are applying online you will be required to enter a current email address and mobile telephone number so we can email and text you details of how your application is progressing.

STEP 3 - apply!

Online through the College Website

Find the course you are applying for on our website and you will see an “Apply Online” button on the page. Once you click this button, you will be prompted to create an account using your email address and a password for your online applications account.

If you are applying for more than one course, i.e. A Levels, be sure to add all of the courses that you would like to apply for before proceeding.

We will then ask for some details about yourself including your personal details, previous qualifications, and your hobbies and interests.

UCAS Progress

You can apply through the UCAS Progress website http://www.ucas.com/progress.  This site allows you to view a range of courses from all Colleges in your local area.  Many schools across Birmingham, Dudley, Stourbridge, Kidderminster and the wider Midlands area are signed up to UCAS Progress, ask your school careers advisor for more information.

Paper Application Form

If you would like a paper application form please call into anyone of our campuses or give us a call on 0121 446 4545 / 01384 344 344 and we will send you a form in the post.

What happens after I've applied?

Applied Online

You will see an on screen confirmation that your application has been submitted.

This will be followed by an email confirmation sent to the email address you have supplied during the application process.

Once we receive and process your application you will be sent an email inviting you into the next available interview date.

Applied by UCAS Progress

You will receive an online acknowledgement via UCAS Progress along with detail of how will be processing your application.

Details of your interview will be sent to you by email using the address provided in your application if you prefer to be contacted by post please let us know by emailing our admissions team admissions@bmet.ac.uk.

Applied by Paper Application Form

We will acknowledge your application by postcard once this has been received and processed.  Details of your interview will be sent to you by post/email using the details provided on your application form.
